  1. WinZip - built-in disk spanning
  2.  
  3. After installing these files, WinZip will no longer require PKZIP and
  4. PKUNZIP when working with archives that span multiple floppy disks.
  5.  
  6. NOTE:  WinZip's built-in ZIP and UNZIP handle normal ZIP files - these
  7. files are used only for ZIP files that span disks.
  8.  
  9. IMPORTANT:  This is not a formally supported WinZip feature at this
  10. time.  Please use this feature only if you are comfortable using
  11. pre-release beta test software.
  12.  
  13. REQUIREMENTS:  The installation will not work unless you have installed
  14. either
  15.  
  16.     1) The 32-bit version *release* version of WinZip 6.0a
  17.     2) Any version of WinZip 6.1
  18.  
  19. Note for WinZip 6.0a users:  even though PKZIP is not used for disk
  20. spanning, you *must* specify the location of PKZIP in the Program
  21. Locations dialog box (this requirement is due to an oversight and has
  22. been corrected in WinZip 6.1).
